Cheyenne
Cheyenne Bodie was a big man, a former army scout who went west after the American Civil War and drifted from job to job, here a cowboy, there a lawman, and always a larger-than-life hero. CHEYENNE is an American western television series of 108 black-and-white episodes broadcast on ABC from 1955 to 1963. The show was the first hour-long western, and in fact the first hour-long dramatic series of any kind, with continuing characters, to last more than one season. It was also the first series to be made by a major Hollywood film studio which did not derive from its established film properties, and the first of a long chain of Warner Brothers original series produced by William T. Orr.

Cheyenne, Smitty and a woman they just rescued from an Indian attack are trapped by a band of desperados in their fortified mountain hideaway.
2. Julesburg
Trying to guide a lost wagon train, Cheyenne and Smitty tangle with a gang of cattle rustlers.
3. The Argonauts
Cheyenne tries to help two prospectors in their search for a gold mine, but then they encounter renegade Indians who try to rob them.
4. Border Showdown
Pursuing the bandits who killed a friend of theirs, Cheyenne and Smitty find that the gang has taken over an entire town and only the local padre has the courage to stand against them.
5. The Outlander
Cheyenne's previous acquaintance with a woman involves him in blackmail and nearly gets him killed.
6. The Travelers
Deputy Cheyenne is forced to bring an outlaw in for a murder Cheyenne doesn't think he committed after the US Marshal is killed in a shootout. At the same time the father of the victim is trailing Cheyenne and wants to hang the outlaw.
7. Decision
Guiding a cavalry troop through Indian territory, Cheyenne leads a mutiny to avoid a massacre.
8. The Storm Riders
Cheyenne is driving a herd of horses across land he thought was open range. The owner, Martin Storm, roughs him up and steals them. He gets help from a local rancher who has been trying to rid the valley of this menace since he got there.
9. Rendezvous at Red Rock
Cheyenne comes upon a man who has just been shot. Arrested by a few riders and on the way to Laramie, a hidden benefactor frees him. Their new friendship is shaken when he finds the real reason he saved him and who he really is.
10. West of the River
It's been five years since Ed McKeever's two daughters, Ruth and Jenny, were kidnapped by Chief Tanaka. A scout has just located the women and Cheyenne is assigned to lead the rescue mission of volunteers made up mostly of stockade prisoners from a nearby fort.
